A Word from Our Co-Founder: John Clark
I’m incredibly proud to share that Conexis VMS has been awarded Silver at the 2025 Brandon Hall Group™ HCM Excellence Awards, recognized for Best Advance in HR and Workforce Management Technology for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses.
This recognition is especially meaningful because the Brandon Hall awards focus on real innovation and measurable impact - not market size or legacy reputation. It validates the work we’re doing to bring truly modern, flexible workforce technology to the mid-market.
For me personally, this award carries a lot of weight.
Brandon Hall doesn’t recognize technology for being the biggest or the loudest - they recognize platforms that are pushing the industry forward in meaningful ways. To be acknowledged for advancing HR and workforce management technology for small and mid-sized organizations is a powerful affirmation of the path we’ve chosen.
In just a few short years, Conexis VMS has gone from a bold new entrant to an award-winning platform, recognized alongside some of the most established names in HR and workforce technology. That momentum doesn’t happen by accident.
We made a deliberate decision early on not to replicate legacy VMS platforms. Instead, we built Conexis VMS from the ground up for how contingent workforce programs actually operate today -fast-moving, highly configurable, and deeply connected to the broader HR and technology ecosystem.
At Conexis VMS, we focus on solving the problems that have held this industry back for too long:
- Rigid systems that can’t adapt to real-world workflows
- Long, painful implementation timelines
- Limited visibility into workforce data
- Technology that feels outdated the moment it goes live
Our mission has always been simple: make VMS technology faster, smarter, and easier to use – providing the enterprise power mid-market organizations need but with more flexibility, customization personal service; but without the complexity or cost.
That philosophy is reflected in the innovation Brandon Hall recognized this year. From launching Nexi AI, our AI-powered assistant designed to support users 24/7 in over 100 languages, to delivering AI-driven rate intelligence in weeks instead of months, to enabling rapid white-labeling and open API integrations - we’re proving that mid-market organizations no longer need to settle for second-best technology.
Having worked in this industry for over 20 years, I know how rare that level of agility and customer-centric design truly is. I also know how much effort it takes to get there.
Which brings me to the people behind the platform.
I want to thank our incredible Conexis VMS team. What this group has accomplished in a relatively short period of time is remarkable. Their talent, creativity, and relentless focus on our customers are what make recognitions like this possible. The culture of humility and helpfulness amongst our entire team is a beautiful thing.
I also want to sincerely thank our clients and partners. Your trust, feedback, and collaboration continue to shape our platform in powerful ways. You challenge us to innovate faster and think bigger - and this award belongs to you as much as it does to us.
This Brandon Hall recognition reinforces what we already believe: the future of workforce technology is modern, flexible, intelligent, and built around the user.
We are leading the VMS industry in innovation and change, and recognition like this awards demonstrate our commitment to continuing on our journey.
